Mary Poppins left her bag in the Hangar art centre during a watercolour class for the greatest pleasure of the students ! The bag and umbrella were put in the middle of a table with a white background. I added a bit of colour and texture to the foreground to contrast with the sleek and shiny leather effect of this vintage bag.
Hello dear Artists Friends and Kindred Spirits, I have been invited as a guest artist to be featured in the blog DOODLEWASH.com which is part of the global movement created by Charlie O’Shields #WorldWatercolorGroup

It is all about community and connecting artists. There are over 20000 members sharing their passion of watercolour on line. What a great honour and opportunity to be part of such fantastic group you created Charlie…many thanks
My last post was a witch carved out of a pumpkin brewing a potion over a cauldron. Today I go for the opposite : a very charming lady from the 1920’s inspired by a vintage photo. I hope you will fall under her seductive spell !
